KATE HARDIMAN RHODES
Kate Hardiman Rhodes serves as Senior Advisor in the areas of law, education, and media. She has worked in all three fields, having served as a Rehnquist Fellow at Cooper & Kirk PLLC in Washington, DC, as a journalist for a half dozen publications, including The Hill, Washington Examiner, PoliticsPA, and others, and as a teacher in the Chicago area.
Prior to arriving in DC, Hardiman Rhodes served as a teaching fellow with the Alliance for Catholic Education. She was also an undergraduate research associate with the Pittsburgh non-profit A+ Schools and interned with the re-election campaign of Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett and Lt. Governor Jim Cawley in 2014.
A proud alumna of the University of Notre Dame, Hardiman Rhodes completed her undergraduate studies in the Program of Liberal Studies (PLS) and the Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics (PPE) Program before going on to earn her Master of Arts in Education. During her time in South Bend, she was a Tocqueville Fellow as well as a Sorin Fellow at Notre Dame's Center for Ethics & Culture. She holds her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
Hardiman Rhodes is the co-author, along with Arizona Supreme Court Justice Clint Bolick, of Unshackled: Freeing America's K-12 Education System (Hoover 2021). In 2018, she was named by City & State Pennsylvania as one of Pennsylvania's 25 most influential women in politics and public policy. That same year, the Washington Examiner named her to their "Red Alert Politics 30 Under 30" listing.
A multi-talented leader, Hardiman Rhodes started for Notre Dame's club field hockey team and tutored student athletes in calculus. Her other interests include running, watching college football (only Notre Dame games, however), cooking, reading, and traveling and her professional role models are Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and the late Charles Krauthammer.
